A vibrant Fox & Chave silk tie in bright turquoise with a uniform print of stylised tulip blossoms in the Iznik style from Northern Turkey. 

Iznik ceramics are renowned for their rich colours and intricate designs, particularly the use of floral elements.

Tulips, carnations, roses, and hyacinths were common motifs, often arranged in stylized, symmetrical patterns. These floral designs held symbolic meaning, representing ideas of paradise, renewal, and the divine in Ottoman culture.

The art of Iznik decoration reached its peak in the 16th century, with its products adorning mosques, palaces, and tombs. Iznik's distinctive style, blending Ottoman and Chinese artistic traditions, became a significant expression of Ottoman artistic achievement.
