A spring clear-out may be in order, and chances are you’ll be keeping those comfy basics. It’s a breath of fresh air to have a paired down closet. Focus on less pieces, but change them up with accessories to create endless combinations of looks.

You can’t go wrong with a pair of truly comfortable stretch mom jeans we highly recommend these ones from Stradivarius . This Cotton:On long sleeve roll neck top in white works on its own or layered. Spring means it’s time to show your toes, even if it’s not warm enough to show anything else!

Switch it up with a new tie, whilst simultaneously adding a conversation piece. This example   is inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry, an incredible treasure measuring nearly 70 metres, depicting the events leading up to the Norman conquest of England culminating in the Battle of Hastings.

Smart enough to turn heads at the shops, without looking overdressed. Apparently the tapestry was almost certainly woven by English seamstresses, perhaps in Canterbury, who reveal themselves in their spelling of the tapestry's Latin labels and in their technique!.

We’ve paired our Bayeux Tapestry Silk Tie  with a white shirt and stone coloured chinos  from Topman . Clarks Originals Wallabee Shoes in tan suede, pair well with the neutral colours in this ensemble. Add your favourite brown belt, and sunnies of course – it’s spring!

In this instance, we’ve gone casual with an oversized and very versatile dad shirt in rose pink  from Miss Sixty , Topshop leather-look leggings   in black and these blast-from-the-past Adidas Originals Superstar trainers in triple white. Get ready for whatever the day may bring with this day-to-night smart-casual look. From office meetings to dinner dates, this outfit works. Instead of the classic buttoned-up formal tie-look, try a modestly unbuttoned shirt (don’t get carried away here, two buttons max!) paired with a pocket square. 

Here we have a white shirt  and navy coloured chinos dialed-up with this striking slim fit blazer in dark grey, from Selected Homme . Here’s to hoping for more days like the gorgeous Easter weekend we’ve just had here in the UK. It’s not hard to find midi tea dresses these days. You probably have one in your closet. If not, consider shortening a longer one you don’t wear anymore, to make it very Spring ‘22. These midi tea dresses are not only trendy but so flattering for all sorts of shapes and sizes.

A basic one, like this midi tea dress with buttons  in khaki, is helpful for creating multiple different looks. In this instance, we’ve paired it casually with

The pendant adds a little more interest to this simple, but lovely look. Here we have our Celtic Phoenix . Did you know that you can customise a bangle or pendant with an image of your choice?

This one might be the most fun outfit in our spring style lineup. Trench coats are very on trend right now, and we all know spring-time is not a guarantee of coat-less days. We forwent the scarf in this look in favour of a floral scrunchie and statement handbag to add just the right amount of pzazz!

This ‘ & Other Stories’ b alloon sleeve trench coat  in beige is shockingly lightweight which works well for cooler days without overheating. Take it off to reveal a simple long sleeve roll neck top  in white , and not-so-subtle high waisted acid wash mom jeans   in bright green from River Island .
