The ginkgo leaf comes from the ginkgo tree (Ginkgo biloba), one of the oldest living tree species. The leaves are fan-shaped, with distinct veins that radiate outward, resembling a small hand fan. Ginkgo trees are known for their resilience and have been used in traditional medicine for their potential health benefits, such as improving memory and circulation. The tree itself is often revered for its unique history, having survived various environmental changes over millions of years.
