A dark blue Fox & Chave silk tie featuring a repeat pattern of a row of comical Meerkats, by the British Cartoonist Bryn Parry.

Native to southern Africa's Kalahari Desert, meerkats are small, highly social mongooses living in cooperative groups called mobs or gangs. To survive harsh arid environments, they rely on complex underground burrow systems and strict team labour. While the mob forages for insects, scorpions, and small reptiles, rotating sentries stand erect on elevated ground, scanning the skies and horizon for predators. Dark patches around their eyes reduce glare like natural sunglasses, while innate immunity to certain venoms allows them to safely hunt venomous prey.
