In many cultures, the peacock's feather, with its "eyes" (ocelli), is associated with immortality and eternal life. This stems from the bird's ability to renew its beautiful feathers annually. The vibrant and iridescent colors of the peacock feathers symbolize beauty, elegance, and grace. They are often seen as a representation of all things aesthetically pleasing.

The "eyes" on the feathers symbolise an all-seeing, watchful nature, offering protection against evil spirits and negative influences. In Hinduism and Buddhism, peacock feathers are symbols of spiritual awakening, enlightenment, and divine protection.
