A Fox & Chave silk habotai scarf with a bold and distinctive red marbling pattern derived from the end paper of a book of poems by Alfred, Lord Tennyson.

Tennyson’s books, especially his poetry collections, combined Victorian literary ideals with deep emotional resonance and rich symbolism. His works often explored themes of nature, mythology, love, loss, and national identity, shaped by the Romantic legacy and contemporary social change.

The physical editions of Tennyson’s books, published from the 1830s onward, featured ornate bindings, gilded lettering, and decorative floral motifs, reflecting the era’s taste for craftsmanship and beauty.
