This charming printed Fox & Chave silk tie is one of our most popular featuring a repeat design of illustrated bicycles from the mid 20th century.

The bicycle's history began in the early 19th century with inventions like the draisine and velocipede. In the 1860s, pedals were added, and the "boneshaker" emerged. The 1880s saw the introduction of the modern safety bicycle design. Bicycles transformed transportation, recreation, and sports, becoming an iconic symbol of mobility and independence.
