An intricate Fox & Chave silk tie with a design in shades of blue and turquoise in the art nouveau style from a pattern that originally contains the head of a phoenix.

A symbol of rebirth and renewal, the phoenix, found a natural affinity with Art Nouveau's core themes. Art Nouveau artists often depicted stylised, flowing forms, and the phoenix, with its dramatic cycle of death and resurrection, aligned perfectly with this aesthetic.
