A stunning gold Fox & Chave silk tie with depictions of scenes from the Ancient Egyptian Pantheon.

The design depicts Ancient Egyptian judgment scenes, central to funerary papyri like the Book of the Dead, and the afterlife's final trial. Rendered in frontality, or aspective grid style, figures feature profile heads and limbs alongside forward-facing torsos and eyes.

Osiris presides enthroned beneath a shrine canopy, holding the crook and flail. Isis stands in attendance behind him, while the falcon god Horus hovers above or introduces the deceased. Nearby, ibis-headed Thoth records the outcome as a heart is weighed against the feather of Ma'at. At the scales crouches Ammit, the 'eater of souls', a hybrid monster waiting to devour the unworthy.
