DESIGNER'S NOTES
A witty goose themed animal cartoon by British artist Simon Drew with an idiosyncratic quote attributed to one of the great boozers, W.C. Fields, and placed on a fine laminate coaster with a cork backing.

W.C. Fields, was a comedian and actor, known for his acerbic wit and fondness for alcohol, often claiming, "I never drink water because of the disgusting things that fish do in it!" He also had a famously prickly attitude toward children, once quipping, "I like children—if they're properly cooked." His sarcastic humor and eccentricities made him a beloved figure in early Hollywood comedy.
