DESIGNER'S NOTES
This beautifully floral Fox & Chave silk tie features the pattern Golden Lily from the prolific and influential archive of Morris & Co.
It is likely that William Morris himself created the broad idea of this pattern in 1899, with the details of lush, intricate intertwining lilies, daisies, and tulips set against a verdant backdrop of curling leaves and vines, created and drafted by John Henry Dearle.
The pattern was produced in many colour variations, and included warm golds, deep greens, reds, and soft blues, with later adaptations including more muted, pastel tones like this one, as well as darker, richer palettes.

STYLING
A Fox & Chave silk tie looks best tied in a classic Windsor or half-Windsor knot and worn with a collar style of your choosing. Cutaway or spread collars offer the greatest opportunity to display the detail of your unique silk tie design.
