DESIGNER'S NOTES
A unique Fox & Chave crêpe de chine silk scarf featuring a collage of William Morris floral patterns, predominantly in black.
The pattern at the ends of the scarf is a variation of one entitled Wey that was created by Morris in 1883, and is a typical example of his cotton block printed designs. The central part of the scarf is a variant of the earlier pattern Honeysuckle from 1876, with the two separated by an improvised border based on Morris floral motifs.
