DESIGNER'S NOTES

A pair of Fox & Chave cufflinks featuring traditional shamrocks, a small three-leaf clover long associated with Ireland’s identity, luck, and spiritual meaning.

Its symbolism is often traced to the missionary work of Saint Patrick in the 5th century, who is said to have used the plant to explain the Christian concept of the Holy Trinity—three persons existing as one. Beyond Christianity, the number three held sacred meaning in earlier Celtic belief, appearing frequently in myth and art.

Over centuries the shamrock became a national emblem of Ireland, worn proudly on Saint Patrick's Day as a sign of heritage, resilience, and enduring cultural pride.

Fox & Chave cufflinks are made in England from polished rhodium plate findings with fixed oval backs. Each pair is supplied in an elegant flip top presentation box. They can be worn with single, double or convertible cuff dress shirts.
