Burne Jones Laus Veneris Chiffon Scarf

A rich orange, gold and teal chiffon silk scarf from a typical Pre-Raphaelite palette by Sir Edward Burne-Jones, inspired by a poem by Swinburne. The painting is owned by the Laing Gallery and was the show guide cover image for the Tate's Pre-Raphaelite exhibition in 2018.
