LAST CHANCE

A final opportunity for you to claim a piece of style history with an end-of-line, or one-off sample before they vanish forever.

DESIGNER'S NOTES

A red Fox & Chave silk tie with a design detailing the seam work on a red Cricket ball.

The red cricket ball originated in eighteenth-century England, evolving from crude rag-stuffed leather into a refined sporting article crafted by pioneer makers like Dukes in Kent.

Standardised around six ounces of cork, twine, and dyed leather, its bold red hue was selected because it offered maximum visual contrast against traditional white playing attire and green turf during daylight play.

Its prominent, raised stitched seam serves both structural and tactical purposes. Beyond binding the leather quarters together tightly, the seam gives bowlers crucial finger grip, enables aerodynamic swing through the air, and creates unpredictable deviations when bouncing off the pitch.

STYLING

A Fox & Chave silk tie looks best tied in a classic Windsor or half-Windsor knot and worn with a collar style of your choosing. Cutaway or spread collars offer the greatest opportunity to display the detail of your unique silk tie design.
