DA VINCI VIRGIN OF THE ROCKS SILK SQUARE

DESIGNER'S NOTES

This classic silk square in shades of brown, bronze and cream features an element from the painting Vergine delle rocce by the Italian renaissance master Leonardo Da Vinci (1452 - 1519). In English, The Virgin of the Rocks, alternatively titled The Madonna of the Rocks, features several figures, with the face of the Archangel Uriel being the one depicted here.

The scarf is made from a sheer and floaty chiffon silk and is finished with traditional, artisan hand rolled hems.
