DESIGNER'S NOTES
This Fox & Chave printed silk tie features details from the painting Water-lilies (Nympheas) 1916-1919 by the French Impressionist master Claude Monet. (1840-1926).
Monet's technique for crafting his sprawling, often cinematic scale paintings in this series, involved layering colours and using soft, almost indistinct brushstrokes to blend the boundaries between water, sky, and vegetation.
This created a luminous, immersive effect that draws the viewer into the scene, making them feel as if they are part of the landscape. The paintings are not just depictions of a pond but studies in the transient, ever-changing nature of light, offering a serene and meditative experience that was groundbreaking for its time.

STYLING
A Fox & Chave silk tie looks best tied in a classic Windsor or half-Windsor knot and worn with a collar style of your choosing. Cutaway or spread collars offer the greatest opportunity to display the detail of your unique silk tie design.
