DESIGNER'S NOTES

A purple Fox & Chave habotai silk scarf with a purple art nouveau design of stylised flowers.

Heavily influenced by the fluid botanical designs of the late nineteenth century British Arts and Crafts movement. This scarf design has a rhythmic, interlocking vertical drop repeat that creates a continuous, undulating movement across the fabric.

The motifs feature highly stylised, organic flora, reminiscent of water lilies or irises, characterised by elegant, sweeping whiplash curves and elongated stems. Rendered in an elegant, analogous palette of orchid, mauve, violet, and deep plum, the botanical forms are defined by sharp, graphic line work that stands out beautifully against a crisp ground.

STYLING

A Fox & Chave habotai silk scarf can be worn with the classic knot style or a pussycat bow.
