A woven silk Fox & Chave tie with a repeat pattern of toffee coloured hares running over a butterscotch ground.
With their long ears and powerful hind legs, Hares are a familiar sight in the English countryside, symbolising mystery and magic in rural life. Unlike rabbits, they do not burrow, adding to their solitary and enigmatic nature.
In English folklore, hares are associated with witchcraft, shapeshifting, and the spirit world. Their nocturnal habits and erratic movements have led to superstitions and tales of them being otherworldly creatures. The March Hare symbolises madness and fertility, linked to their energetic mating season.
