DESIGNER'S NOTES
Despite its name, this Fox & Chave silk tie has nothing to do with snakes. The design features the pattern 'Snakeshead' from the legacy of William Morris, which was said to be amongst his favourites.
The naming in fact refers to the bulbous Fritillaria meleagris, commonly known as the Snake's head fritillary, sometimes also called the chequered daffodil, that is a widely naturalised perennial in the United Kingdom.
The greyish green leaves of the plant are lance-shaped, like a snake's head, with one to two nodding, bell-shaped blooms, the tepals tessellated with pale pink in a checkerboard fashion.

STYLING
A Fox & Chave silk tie looks best tied in a classic Windsor or half-Windsor knot and worn with a collar style of your choosing. Cutaway or spread collars offer the greatest opportunity to display the detail of your unique silk tie design.
