A stunning Fox & Chave silk habotai scarf featuring a repeat of stylised Peacock feathers after a design by the British Ceramicist William De Morgan (1839-1917).
De Morgan frequently incorporated peacock and peacock feather motifs into his designs. They reflected his fascination with nature and the exotic. De Morgan's intricate, vibrant patterns featured iridescent glazes and intricate detailing, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of his tiles, pottery, and stained glass, and setting him apart as the leading innovator in the Arts and Crafts Movement.
