This colourful Fox & Chave silk bow tie features elements from a mosaic that can be seen at the Park Güell in the Catalan city of Barcelona in Spain, a city resplendent with the work of one of its favourite sons, Antoni Gaudí (1852-1926).

A mind-bending masterpiece, the park is a riot of colour and creativity sprawling across a hillside. Dreamt up by Gaudí in the early 1900s, this surreal creation was supposed to be a posh housing estate for the city's elite. But when the rich snubbed it, Gaudí went wild, transforming the site into a fantastical public park.

Think giant mosaic lizards, winding serpentine benches, and fairy-tale houses. Inspired by nature and obsessed with curves, Gaudí ditched straight lines entirely, creating a wonderland where everything seems to be alive. The result? A UNESCO World Heritage Site that’s both bizarre and beautiful, attracting millions of tourists who flock to snap selfies with the famed dragon sculpture and soak in panoramic views of the city.
