The design of this unique Fox & Chave silk tie details a rendering of microorganisms, tiny life forms invisible to the naked eye that encompass a diverse array of bacteria, viruses, fungi, protozoa, and algae.

These microscopic entities inhabit virtually every environment on Earth, from the depths of the ocean to the soil beneath our feet. Despite their small size, microorganisms play pivotal roles in various ecological processes, including nutrient cycling, decomposition, and symbiotic relationships.

Designed in association with the Wellcome Trust, the design highlights the significance of  understanding microorganisms as essential in the fields of medicine, agriculture, biotechnology, and environmental science.
