DESIGNER'S NOTES

A classic woven silk Fox & Chave tie with a repeat pattern of red and white tudor roses over a navy blue ground.

The Tudor Rose symbolises the unity of England following the Wars of the Roses, a civil conflict between the Houses of Lancaster (red rose) and York (white rose) in the 15th century. Henry VII, a Lancastrian, united the two factions by marrying Elizabeth of York in 1486, creating the emblematic Tudor Rose with a red outer layer and white centre, representing peace between the rival houses.

The rose became the royal symbol of the Tudor dynasty representing harmony, reconciliation, and stability. It's still used today in English heraldry, emblematic of national unity and historical continuity.

STYLING

A Fox & Chave silk tie looks best tied in a classic Windsor or half-Windsor knot and worn with a collar style of your choosing. Cutaway or spread collars offer the greatest opportunity to display the detail of your unique silk tie design.
