DESIGNER'S NOTES
This classic silver plated pendant features a detail from the painting The Fighting Temeraire created in 1838 by J.M.W Turner (1775 - 1851)
The painting depicts the warship, distinguished at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805, being tugged to her last berth to be broken up. Turner contrasts luminous skies with the vessel’s fading grandeur, emphasising colour, light, and atmosphere. Brushwork blends realism with romantic melancholy, evoking nostalgia, technological change, and the decline of naval tradition. This pendant features a detail of the sunset from this famous work.

STYLING
The pendant is a few centimetres in diameter with a 450mm chain, so style outside high necklines, or against the skin with lower necklines. Wear with jewellery of similar scale, such as a simple silver bracelet.
