A FEW MOMENTS FROM 2022
The great thing about 2022 is that it wasn’t 2020 or 2021! Personally and professionally, this has been year when we have climbed out of the dark pandemic hole and back up into the sunlight. On the Fox & Chave front, it has still been challenging, as we grapple with a commercial ‘hangover’ , but our museum and heritage customer sites are now fully open, with tourists back and shelves that need replenishing – yeah!
The world around us has been very wobbly. War returned to Europe, we lost our cherished monarch of 70 years, Prime Ministers and Chancellors came and went, the economy tanked, but you lovely people cheered yourselves up with elegant silks and cheered us up with some wonderful compliments and great photos. The tie-wearing Spaniel is our favourite – you know who you are!

THE ARCHIVE COLLECTION - Coming in 2023
Our two initiatives of the year have been The Archive Collection, whereby we are putting together a dossier of 20 years of design development for our wholesale trade customers to select from timeless classics.
And for our online customers, we have also dug into the archives and have created a Last Chance range of forgotten gems from the sample room. It has been such fun to look back on two decades of creativity – with only one or two horrors!

2022 also saw Fox & Chave move from Old Chesham to the nearby, delightful Chiltern village of Great Missenden, home of Fantastic Mr Fox (no relation) and the Roald Dahl Museum. We are just off the historic High Street, which is great fun for us and a nightmare for our couriers!
Given the unpredictability of the last few years, one doesn’t want to tempt fate, but we are feeling positive and excited about 2023 and hope that you have high hopes and great expectations for the year ahead.
