The Yeomen Warders, famously known as Beefeaters, are the ceremonial guardians of the Tower of London. Established in 1485 by Henry VII, they originally protected the British monarch. Today, these military veterans lead guided tours, sharing centuries of bloody history and royal lore. They are iconic symbols of London, instantly recognisable in their ornate Tudor-style red and gold uniforms.
