A fine Fox & Chave habotai silk scarf with a blue Mandala-style design.

This pattern blends Moorish tile-work with the rich architectural heritage of Indian Islamic design, reminiscent of Mughal jaali screens and courtly ceiling medallions. Rendered in a crisp, monochromatic blue palette of indigo, cobalt, and cerulean against white, the design echoes both Mediterranean glazed ceramics and historic Eastern block-printed textiles.

Structurally, the composition employs a radial symmetry, with large circular medallions within square panel frames. At the core of each roundel is an eight-pointed floral star, surrounded by concentric geometric bands and pointed, petal-like borders mimicking traditional arches.
