A glorious Fox & Chave silk habotai scarf featuring elements from the work Vase de Pivoines sur Piedouche or Vase of Peonies on a Small Pedastal (1864) by Éduoard Manet (1832-1883).

Manet’s still life paintings, though less celebrated than his provocative figure works, reveal a quieter, more contemplative side of his artistry.

While his famous subjects such as Olympia (1863) or Le Déjeuner sur l’herbe (1862-63) shocked viewers with their modernity and challenged social norms, his still life works focus instead on precision, light, and texture.
