DESIGNER'S NOTES
A fascinating Fox & Chave silk tie in orange, purple and pink with bursts of gold after patterns and elements from the painting Princesses and Warriors (1914) by the Italian painter Vittorio Zecchin (1878–1947).
Sometimes referred to as the Italian Klimt, a comparison made on account of Zecchin's use of elongated and sensual feminine forms combined with intricate decorative patterns.
In the series Le Mille e una Notte or The Thousand and One Nights, figures of warriors and princesses are often depicted by Zecchin in flowing robes, set against richly patterned backgrounds that recall Persian miniatures or Middle Eastern tapestries. The works often eschew the use of perspective in favour of a more two-dimensional, ornamental quality.

STYLING
A Fox & Chave silk tie looks best tied in a classic Windsor or half-Windsor knot and worn with a collar style of your choosing. Cutaway or spread collars offer the greatest opportunity to display the detail of your unique silk tie design.
